Gujarati translation by Ramakrishna Vyas, published in the second part of 'General History of Philosophy' (1906), written by German language scholar Professor Paul Dawson. As the author states, this part has a distinct self-assertiveness in its own way. In the past five thousand years, diligent efforts have been made to evaluate the elements of philosophy developed in India on the basis of their original writings, to arrange them in the historical order.
